Why this site exists
Buying a phone or an air conditioner in India means wading through a particular kind of content: spec sheets reformatted as articles, "best of" lists that rank by commission rate, and reviews that imply hands-on testing nobody did. The specifications are usually accurate. The advice is usually useless, because it never tells you what you are giving up.
We started 10x Verdict to write the thing we wanted to read — recommendations that name the specific reader each product suits, list its weaknesses next to its strengths, and say plainly when the honest answer is "none of these" or "wait for a sale".
How we work
Every article draws on manufacturer specifications read from official sources, current pricing across multiple Indian retailers, verified owner feedback weighted towards long-term reliability, and hands-on use where we have it.
When we have not physically tested something, we say so — in a visible note at the top of the article, not in small print at the bottom. That is the commitment we would most want from a site we were reading, so it is the one we make first. The full process is in our editorial policy.
How we are funded
Through affiliate commissions. If you buy something through a link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model — no sponsored posts, no paid rankings, no brand having any say over what we publish.
Commission rates vary between products, and we do not look at them when deciding what to recommend. Our guides routinely rank a cheaper product above a more expensive one, and our how-to guides carry no affiliate links at all. See theaffiliate disclosure for the details.

Corrections and contact
